Noboribetsu Onsen Hell Valley
Hell Valley is a spectacular, appropriately named valley just above the town of Noboribetsu Onsen where you will see hot steam vents, sulphurous streams and bubbling pits. It is a main source for the hot springs in Noboribetsu.
Ninja Date Jidaimura (Lunch provided)
Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura is a history theme park showcasing the Edo period. Visitors can enjoy traditional games, activities and street performances. There are also opportunities to mingle with the Ninjas and Oiran courtesans that are symbolic of the period.
Mt Showa Shinzan
Still venting sulphurous fumes today, Showa Shinzan is a young volcano that rose from a flat wheat field after Mt Usu erupted.
The tour will go past Lake Toya, one of two lakes in Japan that does not freeze even in winter.
Toya Silo Observatory
At the Silo Observatory, get panoramic views of the entire Lake Toya. Mt Usu, Showa Shinzan, Nakajima Island and Toyako Town are also visible from this area.
Arrive back at Sapporo Station
