Start your journey with a tour of Dubrovnik’s landmark - The Old Town. Pile Gate, located on the western wall, is the grand entrance into the historical old town. Built in the year 1537, this fabulous city gate enables pedestrians to cross the drawbridge and move to the gorgeous view of the main street of Dubrovnik. Next up is Rector’s Palace, which was built in the Gothic style, but also has Renaissance and Baroque elements. The building harmoniously combines all these elements, owing its present shape to many additions and reconstructions throughout history. Interestingly, it was also one of the filming locations of the popular television series Game of Thrones, so be sure to come and take a look at the stately atrium yourself.

Dubrovnik – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Dubrovnik

Bordering Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country of historical cities, mountains, medieval castle ruins and impressive nature that can easily be reached on a day trip. Over in the Herzegovina region, the small town of Medjugorje between the mountains has made a name for itself as the place where six locals saw apparitions of the Virgin Mary, making it a popular pilgrimage location. The historical town of Mostar, once badly damaged in the civil war, has been rebuilt into a lively town of cobblestone streets lined with shops and its famous Ottoman-styled Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, spanning the Neretva river.

Stop by in Klis this morning to learn about Dalmatian Products such as fig cakes, candied citrus and olive oil. See how they are produced and sample some of these local and traditional favourites. Moving on to the second-largest city in Croatia, Split is a great place to see Dalmatian life as it is really lived. Always buzzing, this exuberant city has just the right balance of tradition and modernity. Step inside the ancient city and you will see dozens of bars, restaurants and shops thriving amid the atmospheric old walls where Split life has been going on for thousands of years.

The glamorous Hvar Island has to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Because of its important strategic and nautical position, it is blessed with dense Mediterranean nature, mild climate, rich tradition and culture. Today you will get a chance to experience the beauty of the renowned architecture on Hvar Island. Your eyes will immediately be struck by the elegant cathedral and monastery, as well as the precious artefacts exhibited within the buildings such as paintings, manuscripts and old coins.

Split – Trogir – Sibenik

In the historic town of Trogir, you will be able to see its unique urban tradition and culture through the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex in the whole of central Europe. Later on, you will visit Sibenik, the oldest native Croatian town by the sea. It is home to the country’s most important monument of the Renaissance – Sibenik Cathedral, many fortresses, Game of Thrones locations and excellent food and shopping.
Day 06 (Thu, 24 Oct’19)
Sibenik – Krka National Park – Zadar

This morning let’s enjoy the exceptionally preserved nature in Krka National Park. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Zadar, a city of remarkable history and rich cultural heritage. Voted the place with the most beautiful sunset in the world, the town of Zadar is located along the Adriatic Coast and boasts a very unique attraction: the Sun Salutation, that needs to be seen and heard to be believed.
Day 07 (Fri, 25 Oct’19)
Zadar – Plitvice

The Plitvice National Park, Croatia’s most popular tourist attraction, was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979. Located roughly halfway between capital city Zagreb and Zadar on the coast, the lakes are a must-see in Croatia.

Postojna Cave houses magnificent underground halls and natural tunnels that will captivate you with its grandeur and rare animal species. Inside the cave, a railway system brings you through fantastic limestone features. Ljubljana – Bled – Ljubljana

Explore the attractive city of Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia and the Green Capital of Europe, abounding with arts, museums and galleries. Moving on to Bled, you will visit the Bled Castle, towering on a cliff overlooking the glacial Lake Bled. Taking a traditional Pletna boat out onto the emerald green lake, you will be able to stop on the island in the middle of the lake and visit its beautiful white church.

Today we will be exploring Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. Old, homogenous buildings reminiscent of its past juxtapose against fascinating buildings, market places and shopping centres. Zagreb is a city throbbing with both traditional Croatian and international exuberance.
