Arriving in Amsterdam this morning, the Albert Cuyp Market will be your first stop. One of the biggest markets in Europe operating since 1905, over 300 stalls line the street selling all kinds of food, textiles, plants and jewellery.
Moving on to one of the most popular art museums in the world, the Van Gogh Museum holds the largest collection of the artist’s works. With over 200 paintings, 500 drawings and 700 letters, you can trace the progress of Van Gogh’s works over the years and be inspired by his legacy.
Step into the royal compounds of the Royal Palace of Amsterdam in the middle of the city this afternoon. Initially built as a town hall in the 17th century, it was converted into a palace by King Louis Bonaparte. Since then, it has been consistently used for royal events and receptions, but most of the time, it is open to the public.

Enter a colourful world of flowers at the Keukenhof Tulip Festival! Celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2019, you can see 7 million bulbs of around 800 varieties of tulips fill the sprawling park with bright colours and designs.
Next, visit the eye-catching Markthal Rotterdam. Meaning ‘market’, it is the largest indoor market in the city. Fresh food stalls, eateries and hardware shops are covered by a spectacular arch of residential apartments built over it.
Day 03 (Sun, 21 Apr’19)

Today you will visit the old fishing town of Volendam, a retreat for artists such as Picasso and Renoir. Filled with traditional houses along the old harbour, this charming town is where you can admire traditional Dutch attire as well, still worn on a daily basis by some of the residents here.
Moving over to Zaanse Schans, you will catch sight of some of Hollands most famous landmarks – windmills. Used for grinding spices, sawing wood and making oil, over 600 of these windmills were built in the 17th century. Get a feel of life in the past here with a visit to the windmills and museums.
Day 04 (Mon, 22 Apr’19)
Amsterdam – Prague

Taking a flight into Prague, you will first tour the Old Town where the city has its roots. Exploring the cobblestone paths, historical landmarks with eclectic architecture fill the streetscape. The well-preserved buildings in the Old Town Square include the Old Town City Hall with its Astronomical Clock, the Baroque architecture of St Nicholas’ Church, the Gothic Church of our Lady before Tyn, the Renaissance The House at the Minute and many more historic sights.
In the evening, head to the Hybernia Theatre to be treated to The Best of Swan Lake, a performance of the best parts of Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet by some of the top dancers from the Prague National Theatre.

See more of Prague today starting with Charles Bridge. A Gothic stone bridge connecting the Old Town with the Lesser Town, it is lined with statues of saints from centuries past, and alive with street musicians, artists and craftsmen along its length.
From the bridge, move on to Prague Castle, the largest, and most famous, ancient castle in the world. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is a significant Czech monument, having been the home ground for former kings, emperors and presidents.
Continue your appreciation of historical structures with a visit to the Baroque Library, arguably the most beautiful in the world. Well preserved since the 18th century, the impressively designed library with painted ceilings and portraits is home to over 20,000 books, many as old as the library itself.

Prague – Český Krumlov – Vienna

Stop in the quaint town of Český Krumlov today, known as ‘the Pearl of the Renaissance’. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is a picturesque town complete with castle, cobblestone streets, Gothic medieval buildings, and the air of ancient times. Likened to a ‘miniature Prague’, you can see the similarities and differences between the two as you tour this charming old town.
Day 07 (Thu, 25 Apr’19)
Vienna

Your tour of Vienna starts with the number one attraction of this beautiful and historic city – the Schönbrunn Palace. What began as a hunting lodge in the Middle Ages was slowly developed into one of the most important architectural, historical and cultural monuments in the city. The massive 1,441-room palace complemented by a sprawling garden and park is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognised for its cultural importance.
Another Austrian landmark that you will visit as you tour the city is St Stephen’s Cathedral. The historical church is the seat of the archbishop of Vienna and has great spiritual and cultural significance. Towering over the city, climb to the top of the cathedral to get a breath-taking view of the city.
Next take a tour of the Spanish Riding School where Lipizzan horses are trained to perform at the Winter Riding School at Hofburg Palace. Go behind the scenes to see the facilities where the Lipizzan stallions and riders train and learn the history and equestrian traditions behind the school.

Take a tour of Budapest with its stunning architecture and rich cultural heritage. See the neo-Gothic masterpiece that is Parliament Building, the Gothic Matthias Church where the final two Hungarian kings were crowned, the Fisherman’s Bastion overlooking the Danube with its neo-Romanesque design, the restored neo-Gothic Great Market Hall, and the iconic Heroes Square with its statues of the seven chieftains of the Magyars. After a day of exploring the city, end the night with traditional music and dance with a Hungarian Folk Performance at dinner.

Budapest – Visegrad – Budapest

Pay a visit to the nearby Szentendre today, a riverfront town that has remained relatively unchanged in the last century with its quaint cottages and tall steeples lining cobblestone streets. Moving on to the equally charming Visegrad where Hungarian kings lived up till the 15th century, you can admire Royal palace and medieval structures. Later take in the picturesque skyline of Budapest from Europe’s second longest river on a Danube River Cruise where you can see the historical sights from a different angle.
