Start your trip right with a delicious meal of barbequed meats at the cosy Log House Wagyu Bibi Restaurant. Feast on juicy, tender wagyu beef and more at this table barbeque restaurant, guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds.
Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura is a historical theme park showcasing life during the Edo period. Traditional style houses line the small street while staff in period costumes propel you back to that era. Enjoy various traditional games, activities and performances, and mingle with ninja and oiran courtesans! Challenge the ninja maze full of tricks and illusions and spend an enjoyable afternoon discovering Japan of the past.
Your hotel for tonight is within walking distance to the symbol of Noboribetsu - Noboribetsu Hell Valley. If you would like to, you can walk over after check-in to see the source of Noboribetsu’s hot spring waters which you will get to enjoy tonight. With patches of barren landscape, clouds of steam spouting from vents, flowing streams of hot spring water and the heavy smell of sulphur permeating the air, it is not difficult to understand why this place is called “hell valley”.
Day 02 (Tue, 19 Mar’19)
Noboribetsu – Rusutsu

Start off today with a soba making experience. One of Japan’s signature noodles, learn the steps involved in making good soba noodles from scratch. The effort spent in making the noodles will only increase your enjoyment of consuming your handiwork afterwards!
Following that, head to the Shikotsu-Toya National Park to see Mt Usu, an active volcano that stands at 737 metres high. Take the Mt Usu Ropeway up the side of the mountain for a panoramic view of the spectacular snowy mountains and surrounding landscapes, along with neighbouring Showa Shinzan and Lake Toya.
Indulge in a sweet treat at Lake Hill Farm, a gelato shop and restaurant on a small hill. Serving up 20 varieties of gelato made using milk from the farm itself, try the seasonal flavours made using locally produced fruits and vegetables.
Day 03 (Wed, 20 Mar’19)

Rusutsu Resort has plenty of activities for you to enjoy on your free day. Inside the hotel, you can enjoy the hot water wave pool with water slide and spa or go for a free ride on the merry-go-round. Vast array of indoor activities is also available, including handicrafts such as leather working and glass. Just outside the resort is a snow park for young children with playground equipment and a magic carpet for tubing and sledding. For a more energetic experience, you can go for rides on snowmobile, snow raft or even dog sledding.
Rusutsu's spectacular scenery and long, wide groomed runs on undulating slopes are some of the best in the world. Skiing directly above the resort is available on West Mountain, while majority of the terrain is spread across the gondola-linked East Mountain and its lift-linked, Mount Isola, with over 42km of runs. With different terrains easily accessible from the hotel, skiiers of all levels will find the course of their own in Hokkaido’s famed powder snow.

Bid farewell to the powder snow of Rusutsu and head to Otaru. A former major herring centre and the terminal station for Hokkaido’s first railroad, the charming buildings that line the streets now house whimsical music box museums, patisseries selling mouth-watering creations, and intricate glassware ornaments.
Day 06 (Sat, 23 Mar’18)
Sapporo – Chitose – Haneda

Make full use of your free and easy time in Sapporo before flying back in the late afternoon! As Japan’s fifth largest city, Sapporo has developed rapidly into a bustling metropolis. Options for shopping are abundant, both above and underground, with multi-storey department stores such as Daimaru and Esta lining the streets, and a network of stores offering souvenirs, apparel, footwear, cosmetics, electronics, and more, underground. When you are satisfied with your shopping spree, stop by at the Ramen Republic for a steaming bowl of Hokkaido’s signature miso ramen to complete your Hokkaido experience.
