Day 01 (Fri, 21 Apr’23)
Singapore – Frankfurt – Nice – Monaco – Cannes – St. Tropez

Arriving in Nice this morning, travel over to Monaco, the second smallest sovereign state in the world. See some of its extravagant sights including the Monte Carlo Casino, possibly the most famous casino in the world, The Prince’s Palace, residence of the ruling Grimaldi family for the last 700 years, and the white stone-walled Cathedral of Monaco where former princes are entombed.
After lunch, move over to Cannes, best known for its namesake film festival. See the famous red carpeted stairs of the Palais des Festivals where the festival is held and stroll along the 3km long seafront Boulevard de la Croisette leading up to it. Then see another side of Cannes at its rustic Old Town of Le Suquet where cobbled streets and picturesque squares lead to panoramic views of the town and port.
Day 02 (Sat, 22 Apr’23)
St. Tropez

Today you will tour the former fishing village of Saint-Tropez, now known for its beautiful beaches. Stop by the Old Port, a small fishing port which has become a marina housing luxury yachts, then get a glimpse into Saint-Tropez's history at the Old Town of La Ponche as you walk through charming lanes dotted with small shops, cafes and boutiques. Stop by at Le Musée de l’Annonciade, a museum converted from the former Chapelle Notre-Dame de l’Annonciade, whose artwork and architecture are testament to the area’s avant-garde artistic styles, before moving on to Musée de la Gendarmerie et du Cinéma, a museum in a former police station expounding on the history of cinema in Saint-Tropez.
Afterwards, you will have the afternoon free to explore more of the town and enjoy its sights.

Day 04 (Mon, 24 Apr’23)
St. Tropez – Aix-En-Provence – Arles – Avignon

This morning you will travel to the city of Aix-En-Provence, hometown of post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne. A city rich in history and culture, you will visit some of its sights including the Aix Cathedral, a National Monument and religious landmark comprising Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque architectural styles, and the Old Town where you can find many fountains among its cobbled streets and squares.
Move on to Arles, the city where Van Gogh resided. Having spent some of his most productive years here, it is no surprise that the city inspired some of Van Gogh’s famous works. Learn more about his life and see his artworks on a visit to the Van Gogh Museum. Take a walk in the Old Town as well, where many historic monuments remain from the Roman Empire, including a Roman amphitheatre and ancient Roman theatre.
Day 05 (Tue, 25 Apr’23)
Avignon

Spend the morning touring the gateway to Provence, Avignon. Formerly ruled by the Catholic popes, its rich history can be seen in monuments around its well-preserved medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Palais des Papes, or Palace of the Popes, the largest gothic palace in the world and once the most fortified. Next to it is the Avignon Cathedral, a Roman Catholic church and historical monument, while down at the Rhône River, you can see the iconic arched bridge of Pont d’Avignon which has been partially eroded by the river’s flow.
In the afternoon, do some exploration of your own with some free time in the city.
Day 06 (Wed, 26 Apr’23)
Avignon – Chateauneuf-du-Pape – Orange – Lyon

Famous for producing full-bodied wines from blends of Rhone grapes, Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhone wine region is well-regarded as producers of excellent French wines. Go on a vineyard visit this morning to learn the origins of this splendid wine and taste some for yourself.
Later, see the best-preserved roman theatre in Europe at the Ancient Roman Theatre of Orange. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the grand theatre was built to spread Roman culture and could seat up to 9,000 people.
Day 07 (Thu, 27 Apr’23)
Lyon

The capital of gastronomy and the third-largest city in France, you will learn more about Lyon as you tour the city this morning. Start at the symbol of Lyon, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, which is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Drop by at Parc de la Tête d'or, the largest urban park in France containing a botanical garden and zoo, and head up La Colline de Fourvière, a hilltop where the Romans first settled and where ancient ruins can still be found.
Then, spend a free afternoon wandering about the town on your own.
Day 08 (Fri, 28 Apr’23)
Lyon – Dijon

Moving on to Dijon today, you will be introduced to the highlights of this city best known for its mustard and vineyards. See the Dijon Ducal Palace, Palais des ducs et des États de Bourgogne, the former seat of the Dukes of Burgundy, walk down Rue des Forges lined with 15th Century buildings and monuments, and admire the Gothic architectural masterpieces that are the Church of Notre-Dame of Dijon and the Dijon Cathedral.

Delve deeper into Burgundian life at the Musée de la Vie Bourguignonne where displays showcase historical scenes and expound on the history of mustard, an important product of Dijon. You will also get to taste some of the beloved mustard here.

Day 10 (Sun, 30 Apr’23)
Dijon – Semur-en-Auxois – Fontainebleau – Paris

Travel onwards to Semur-en-Auxois this morning where you will tour the medieval town whose castle towers still remain. Stop at the picturesque Pinard bridge which also offers great views of the town, see the Collégiale Notre-Dame, a Gothic church with stained glass windows, and walk around the quaint Old Town of red-roofed medieval buildings.
In the afternoon, make a trip to Château de Fontainebleau, the medieval castle turned palace which was once the residence of French kings, including Napolean. Now a UNESCO Humanity World Heritage, history lives on within this Renaissance palace.
Day 11 (Mon, 01 May’23)
Paris

Today will be spent touring Paris, the city of romance and culture and the capital of France. Head to Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the “world’s most beautiful avenue” connecting Place de la Concorde and the majestic Arc de Triomphe. Stop by the iconic Eiffel Tower, a wrought-iron structure and symbol of Paris. See the city from a cruise down the Seine River, then drop by the shopping street of Rue di Rivolli, where leading fashion brands can be found.
Day 12 (Tue, 02 May’23)
Paris – Versailles – Paris

Take a trip out to the Palace of Versailles this morning. A sprawling estate consisting of the palace, gardens, and other buildings, this was the former residence of French royalty. Marvel at the grandeur of the palace, now an important cultural site inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage.
Returning to Paris, spend some time appreciating art at the world’s most visited museum, the Louvre Museum. Home of some of the world’s most famous artworks, including the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, dive into the museum’s extensive collection featuring artworks and sculptures from ancient times to the mid-19th century.
