Arriving in Zürich this morning, you will travel out to Lucerne. Located along the shores of its namesake lake, take in the panorama of the mountains surrounding the picturesque town where tradition and modernity coexist. Highlights of the town include the Chapel Bridge, one of the oldest covered wooden bridges in Europe, and the Cultural Convention Centre, an architectural beauty designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.

The capital of Switzerland, Bern has retained much of its medieval atmosphere amid being the political centre of the country. With an Old Town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, history, nature, culture and economy merge in the array of museums, attractions and shopping arcades that can be found in the city, wrapped by the bends of the River Aare. Go on a tour of the city this morning before some free and easy time this afternoon.

This morning begins in Geneva where you will take a tour of this beautiful city located on the bank of Lake Geneva. Best known for being the headquarters of the United Nations, visit some of its popular sites, such as the iconic Jet d'Eau, the tallest water fountain in the world, St. Peter's Cathedral, and the Gothic Old Town.
After lunch, do some exploration of your own in the town with some free time to wander around.

Les Diablerets is a village at 1,200m altitude next to the Swiss Alps where skiing and winter activities are available all year round. Taking a cable car up to Glacier 3000, you can witness stunning views of the surrounding mountain peaks and enjoy activities such as a snow bus ride and, for the brave of heart, Peak Walk by Tissot, the world’s only suspension bridge spanning two mountain peaks.
Saas-Fee – Täsch – Gornergrat – Zermatt – Saas-Fee

Today will be an adventure out to the icon of Switzerland, the Matterhorn! First head into Täsch, the last point where automobiles are allowed. Taking a shuttle train up to Zermatt, you will transfer over to the scenic Gornergrat train to head up the mountain. Marvel at some of the most spectacular views of the Matterhorn and have your lunch 3,100m above sea level. Especially noteworthy is the view from Riffelsee lake where the mountain’s peak is reflected on the water surface on a clear day.
Coming down the mountain, you will have some time for dinner in Zermatt, the mountain resort gateway to the Matterhorn.
Zermatt – Interlaken

Arriving here today, spend a free and easy afternoon exploring the city’s sights.

Take a train ride up the mountain to the “top of Europe” at Jungfraujoch this morning where breath-taking mountain views of 4,000m high peaks covered in eternal snow can be seen. With Europe’s highest altitude railway station at 3,454m, Jungfraujoch provides more than just a great view with attractions like an ice palace and snow park for visitors to fully enjoy their experience up in the Alps.
Coming back down to Interlaken, have some free time to discover more of what the town has to offer.
Interlaken – Stans – Vitznau

Ride up the 1,898m high Stanserhorn this morning on the CabriO double deck cable car for a unique experience and more wonderful views of the Alps and Swiss lakes. Originally a funicular railway opened in 1893, the CabriO took over in 2010 with its open upper deck cable cars, giving visitors 360-degree panoramic views and the feel of the wind as they travel up the mountain.
Head over to Vitznau this afternoon where you can relax and unwind surrounded by quintessential Swiss scenery.
