Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan is an authentic ryokan situated in the Hida Takayama region. There is morning market Takayama Jinya nearby the ryokan as well. Free shuttle service is given for guests from JR Takayama Train station and Takayama Nohi Bus Centre.

This ryokan has both traditional Japanese and semi Western-style rooms

The hotel is inclusive of both breakfast (either Japanese or western-styled) and dinner. Ingredients used in the meals are grown from Hida local farm and are carefully selected before making into a dish. Ryokan’s specialty dinner dishes will be served in the room to make their guests as comfortable as possible. Meals will be aesthetically appealing for guests that are not only enjoyable through the eyes but taste good too. 

3 different public Japanese onsen bath is available in this ryokan. Guests can also be able to enjoy a panoramic view of Takayama, Miyagawa River and peaks of the Northern Alps. However, there are no private onsen facilities on this premises.
