Sounkyo Choyotei is located in the highlands of Sounkyo Onsen. It is an hour drive away from Asahikawa Airport. 

Sounkyo Choyotei has a total of 6 different types of rooms to choose from. Japanese-Western room, Deluxe Japanese Western room, Japanese room, Modern room (Western), Modern room (Japanese) and Large Japanese room. 

The hotel has 2 different restaurants, one is a buffet restaurant and another kaiseki cuisine restaurant. Open concept kitchens were designed so that guests can be able to experience live cooking made by the chefs. Fresh ingredients used in preparation of a fusion of Chinese, Japanese and Western buffet. 

Guests can be able to experience an open air hot spring while gazing at the beautiful scenery while enjoying their relaxing soak.
